This yellow and black sheriff's vest meets the new ANSI/ISEA 207-2006: American National Standard for High-Visibility Public Safety Vests. The breakaway design prevents entanglement. Easy on off with hook and loop front closure and fully adjustable sides. Added features include mic tab, clear badge chest pocket with closure and radio chest pocket with flap closure. Made with ANSI tricot fabric and 3M™ Scotchlight™ reflective tape.
Also meets NFPA 1901, 2009 How ANSI/ISEA 207-2006 differs from ANSI/ISEA 107-2004 The key difference between ANSI 207 and ANSI 107 lies in the amount of fluorescent background material. ANSI 207-2006 requires a minimum of 450 in2. This would fall between ANSI 107 Class 1 (217 in2) and Class II (775 in2) garments. The minimum amount of required retroreflective area (207 in2) did not change from ANSI 107 and ANSI 207.
